Experience light in its most essential form.
Edition No. 01 features a composed collection of natural wax candles in varied scales and proportions. Released in limited quantity and numbered, each form has been considered to interact with light differently, creating subtle shifts in presence as they burn.
The Edition includes four taper candles, one LLIOR Signature Candle, two formed pillar candles, and one LLIOR matchbox. All candles are made from a 50/50 blend of beeswax and soy wax. Cotton wicks. Paraffin-free. 100% natural wax. Free from added fragrance.
The complete set, released in quiet limitation.
- Trim the wick to 0.5 to 1 cm before each burn, and clear any debris.
- Burn for up to four hours at a time, never longer.
- Give the first burn at least two hours, so the wax finds its shape.
- Stand it level, out of the draught, on a heat-resistant surface.
- Burn within sight, out of reach of children and animals.
- Put it out with a snuffer.
- Let it cool for two hours between burns.
- Stop at the last centimetre of wax.
POURED BY HAND
Every LLIOR candle is poured by hand. Beeswax and soy in equal parts, a cotton wick, nothing added. The surface keeps the small marks of the making. No two are exactly alike.

Yes. There is no added fragrance in a LLIOR candle. We work with light and material, and leave the scent of a room to the room.
Yes. Every LLIOR candle is poured by hand, from beeswax and soy in equal parts. Small differences in surface and tone belong to the making.
Beeswax comes from the hive and soy from the field. We chose the materials we can name and trace, and left the rest out.
No. Phthalates are used in scented products to carry and hold fragrance. There is no fragrance in a LLIOR candle, so there is nothing for them to carry. Beeswax, soy and cotton do not contain them.
None. The colour you see is the wax itself.
A LLIOR candle contains no added fragrance and no essential oil. Beyond that, treat it as you would any open flame: out of reach, on a stable heat resistant surface, burnt within sight, and never left alone in a room.
Orders are dispatched twice weekly, on Mondays and Thursdays. Shipping is complimentary over €50 within the Netherlands, and over €100 elsewhere in Europe. Below that it is calculated at checkout.
