A blend of soy wax and beeswax, with a cotton wick. No paraffin. No added fragrance.

Paraffin is derived from crude oil. It was developed for industrial purposes, not for the spaces you live in. We chose differently. Soy and beeswax burn slower and cleaner.

Fragrance is added to fill a room with something it did not have. We work with what a space already holds. LLIOR candles carry no scent, only light and warmth.

Yes. Because LLIOR candles contain no added fragrance and no paraffin, they produce a cleaner burn than most candles. As with any open flame, keep candles out of reach of children and animals, and never leave a burning candle unattended.

Trim the wick to 0.5 to 1 cm before each burn. Give the first burn at least two hours, so the wax finds its shape and keeps to it. After that, burn for up to four hours at a time, never longer. Put it out with a snuffer, so the wick stays straight.

Burn times vary by form. The Signature Candle burns for 180 to 200 hours. Pillar Candle I burns for 70 to 90 hours, and Pillar Candle II for 60 to 70 hours. Taper candles burn for 6 to 8 hours each.

Yes. This is called blooming, a natural characteristic of beeswax as it reacts to temperature changes. It does not affect the burn. It is simply the material doing what natural materials do.

Avoid burning near open windows or air currents. Uneven airflow causes uneven burning and increases drip. Place the candle on a stable, heat-resistant surface.

An Edition is the whole LLIOR collection in one box: the Signature Candle, two pillars, four tapers, and a LLIOR matchbox. Seven natural candles in beeswax and soy, over 330 hours of light. Numbered, and made once.

No. Each Edition is numbered and made once. Once it is withdrawn, it is not produced again.

When an Edition is gone, it is gone. We do not restock an Edition once it has closed. The waiting list for the next Edition opens as soon as the current one closes.

Yes. The Signature Candle is part of every Edition. It is also the only piece in the LLIOR range that remains available at all times, independent of the Editions.
